Of course, the rates vary depending on the workload, the nature of the work, and the number of rooms. However, the examples I am giving you will give you a good idea; afterwards, the quotes will need to be refined based on your needs.
In any case, several options are available to you for submitting an interior design:
- Fixed rate: depending on whether it concerns sketches, preliminary designs, site surveys, or separate missions, a fixed rate may be applied (price ranging between 400 and 900 US dollars per room).
- By the time unit: in this case, the fees are calculated by the hour, half-day, or day.
- Percentage-based: For a project management assignment, fees are calculated as a percentage of the cost of the work, excluding tax. This percentage ranges from 8 to 17 %, depending on the nature of the work.

Prices can change very quickly when submitting a bid for a kitchen because appliances and countertop materials can inflate the bill.
For a custom kitchen, you should expect to pay:
- Mid-range: 18000$ to 25000$
- High-end: 25000$ to 45000$
- Top of the line: 45000$ to 80000$
Bathroom quote
Prices for a bathroom Just as with kitchen layouts, costs can rise quickly. Hydromassage showers, faucets, and tiles must be chosen carefully and can cause prices to skyrocket very quickly. For example, a quartz or granite countertop costs between 80$ and 150$ per square foot.
For a custom bathroom, you need to budget:
- Mid-range: 15000$ to 20000$
- High-end: 20000$ to 28000$
- Top of the line: 25000$ to 55000$
Renovation quote
Prices for a complete renovation of your condo or your residence varies depending on the quality of the execution. It is most often calculated as a price per square foot. The price naturally depends on the services provided and the level of quality of the work.
For a complete custom renovation, you can expect:
- Mid-range: 50$ per car.
- High-end: 250$ per unit. Renovation of an older space; 70% of newly constructed floor area; 30% of refurbished floor area. Some custom fixtures
- Top-of-the-line: 500 $ P/c. The entire home has been fully renovated and features luxurious finishes, with numerous custom-designed elements.
