Welcome to the Drolet project, located in the heart of Little Italy in Montreal. This project is a complete redesign of the kitchen, dining room, and bathroom spaces, with the primary objective of optimizing each area in order to integrate a maximum amount of storage. To achieve this, several custom-built pieces of furniture were designed to harmonize as best as possible with the architectural context of the space.
The Kitchen
The partitions were knocked down to reorganize the space, thus allowing the creation of new custom storage that optimizes the use of space. The kitchen countertop extends into a magnificent storage sideboard for the dining room, enhancing the overall visual harmony while increasing the preparation surface.
The fireplace installed in the dining room invites warmth and conviviality. To harmonize the two rooms, the same wood species was chosen for the furniture and the fireplace, thus ensuring an aesthetic coherence that unifies the whole.

The Bathroom
The minimalism of the walk-in shower and the uniqueness of the floor-to-wall finishes add a touch of luxury and comfort to the bathroom. In a play of light and shadow, the mirrors detach from the wall they occupy and provide the room with secondary lighting that can be adjusted as desired.
